Prologue

My name is Immanuel Ardi Hanitya, just call me Ardi. Currently, I'm working as a solutions architect and officially AWS Ambassador. Before working as a cloud solutions architect, I was a developer of Javascript, PHP, Java Android, HTML5, CSS3,n AngularJS, and JQuery.

Journey

Before I joined the world of code (before I was in college), I was a 3D animator. The software that I used was Blender 3D. I worked in 3D company based in Holland, and has outsource office in Bogor, West Java.

I took information system major in college and I took enterprise system degree in information system. Information system is actually an architect of application. I don't know, I was really thinking that coding is fun and logically awesome. I started to get into the code world, and then joining the very first software house that used Delphi 7, when I was in college.

In the second software house company (PT. Website Kreatif Indonesia), I was supposed to be a web programmer (finally, it was very hard to achieve). And from this position, I learned many networks and terminologies. And also, I was involved in server too. This experience gave me good attention about sysAdmin world. Actually, before joining this company, programmers are design to write code, code, and more code. I don't exactly know that sysAdmin is the hero behind the development, until I have double position associated with sysAdmin.

The first UNIX OS that I learned is CentOS 6, when I was in college as a lab guard. This operating system gives me new paradigm about how network works. I was really amazed that simplicity and code-friendly according to Linux Operating system.

Time goes by, I really know how to develop application, application design, network architect, and finally cloud computing. Before my friend introduce me about how cloud computing works, I have no idea. Later on, my company decided to offer client with S3 (AWS S3 Bucket) as the best solution for application service, storage service, and the most important thing is scalable. So we don't have to worry about the traffic anymore.

Hobby

I actually don't have any specific hobby as well. But I have several things to play:

  • Swimming
  • Playing guitar (but not as expert as my brother)
  • Playing drum (I am a drummer in my church)
  • Music mixing (with FL Studio, I had a dream job as a DJ, hey I am really good at it)
